NARCISSUS OF THE MEADOWS

Narcisus pseudonarcissus L.
Family: Amarilidáceas
It fights the nervous cough, the intermittent fevers and the ferina cough.
Active components: greasy oil, wax, carotene, essential, narcisina, licorina oil.
Useful parts: dry flowers, bulbs.
Bulbous plant vivaz and that gives an ovoid onion. Glauca is plant, greenish, with long radical leaves, and in the end of bohordo a solitary flower is born of yellowish or white color, extended in star form. The crown of the center forms an extended bell. The fruit is capsular. It is multiplied by bulbs.  

Nervous cough and intermittent fevers
Infusion: from 5 to 10 gr. of bulb of narcissus boiled in 1/2 liter of water. It is strained and it sweetened to the pleasure. Tacit ones to the day are taken three.  

Ferina cough
Infusion: 15 lie down gr. of flowers in 1 liter of water and it is boiled. One leaves in rest moments, is strained and it is sweetened with honey, taking tacit until the cough disappears.

NÍSPERO

Germanic Mespilus L.
Family: Rosaceous  
She fights the renales calculations, the intestinal hemorrhage and the diarrea.  
Active components: tannin, acid-fórmico, málico, pécticas matters, vitamin C, sugar, saponina. Useful parts: leaves, fruits, bones and crust. It is a fruit shrub of silver-plated gray color, with beautiful long and elliptical leaves. You cry them, tapeworms, are of white color, very ornamentales. The fruits have a brown color, of meat flavor lasts and acerbo. It blooms in spring.

Renales calculations
Tisane: a spoonful of nuggets of níspero, 20 gr. of crushed parsley, 20 gr. of gold twig and 30 is mixed gr. by root of yezgo. It is put in 1 liter of water, is boiled, it left in rest, it is strained and a cup becomes three times to the day.

Intestinal hemorrhage
Puré: 6 somewhat green nísperos are washed, cooks in little water and they are chafan slightly, sweetening them with honey. Subject this puré at the end of the meals.

Diarrea
Decocción: 25 are washed gr. of Crust of the tree and they cook in 1/2 liter of water, during 15 minutes. One filters and one drinks during the day

WALNUT

Regal Junglans
Family: Juglandáceas
It fights the lombrices, the ulcers and the fever. Active components: prótidos, glúcidos, mineral salts, vitamins To, B1, B2, B5, P, tannin, Lecitina, corilina.
Useful parts: leaves, green rind of the nut and the fruit. It is a beautiful tree of 10-25 m of height, of grayish crust, great leaves and imparipinnadas, and gathered masculine flowers in amentos. The fruits are the well-known nuts. It blooms in mature spring and in autumn. It is multiplied by seed and graft.

Lombrices
Decocción: 20 are boiled gr. of rind of nut in 1 liter of water. When the liquid is lukewarm filters. Three cups to the day without sweetening are taken  

Ulcers
Cataplasm: fresh leaves are washed and crushed. Several times are arranged in a doubled gauze and this cataplasm is applied on the ulcer. One renews every three hours.  

Fever
Decocción: a puñadito of dried and crushed leaves is boiled in a water cup. One filters is sweetened and a tacit one to the day drinks twice.

ORDINARY USE

OLIVO

It adminisers extreme unction to europaea L.
Family: Oleáceas
It fights the arterial tension, the fever and the burns.
Active components: glucósido, oieouropeína, right-twist, hydrocarbons, oil, fats, enzymes, vitamins To, B1, B2, P. p
Useful parts: crust, leaves, olives and oil. Tree of little height, the trunk is heavy and irregular, with persistent and green leaves. The flowers are white, in axillary ramitos. The corola is of a piece. It blooms in spring and it is multiplied by graft peg.

Arterial tension
Infusion: 24 leaves in 1 liter of water are boiled during 15 minutes. One takes a cup in uninformed and another one before lying down.  

Burns
Balsam of Samaritan: they are mixed to equal parts: clear white wine, olive oil and of egg. Bat to emulsionar the mixture and is used the balsam to cure the affected parts.  

Fever
Decocción: in 1 liter of water they are boiled, during 20 minutes, 70 gr. of leaves. One filters, entibia and it is sweetened with honey take four cups to the day.

OLMO

Ulmus campestris L.
Family: Ulmáceas
It cures the ulcers, the diarrea and fights the fever.   Active components: tánicos products, fitosferina, bitter principle, silica, potash, flobafeno.
Useful parts: average crust, leaves. Tree of about 20 ms of height, of retoñante stock, robust and right trunk, with pecioladas and oval leaves, vellosas by envés and green by both faces. The flowers are of reddish white color, hermafroditas. The fruits are dry, of membranosa wing. It blooms in winter and it is multiplied by seed, esqueje and grafts of prong and escudete.

Ulcers
Ointment: petroleum jelly and dust of elm tree crust are mixed, to equal parts. East ointment is applied on the affected parts.  

Diarrea
Tea of elm tree crust: two teaspoons of crust pulverized in 1/4 of liter of water. It is warmed up to low fire until boiling and it is strained. Two cups to the day drink.  

Fever
Cocimiento: 30 are boiled gr. of crust in 1 liter of water, during 30 minutes. One filters, is sweetened with honey and it is taken, very hot before lying down.
